At Prayag, the Geriatric Care Department endeavours to maintain physical and mental well-being of the elderly patients (65 years and above) in the cost-effective manner. Our multidisciplinary team has the expertise to treat older patients with multiple medical problems showing geriatric syndromes, functional decline and pain in order to give a sense of comfort to their family members. Full medical history of the patient is taken into account and screening is done for conditions like depression, dementia, and social as well as care-giver problems.
