In IUI (Intrauterine Insemination), sperm is placed inside the uterus to facilitate fertilization. In IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), eggs are removed from the ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a lab, and the embryo is then transferred to the uterus.

Yes, PCOD often causes irregular ovulation or lack of ovulation, making it difficult to conceive. However, with proper medical management and lifestyle changes, most women with PCOD can get pregnant.

Most initial treatments like IUI are not painful (similar to a Pap smear). Some injections for ovulation induction and procedures like egg retrieval (done under anesthesia) cause mild discomfort, but we ensure pain management is a priority.
